We were required to make a zelda like game with basic weapons and combat. We had to submit a working build within a period of five days.
I wanted to make a simple game with focus on having a complete experience. With working menus and quality adjustments, as well as play pause. While also providing combat, different enemy types and weapons.
The game revolves around a noble out to earn a name for herself. She is sent on a mission to fight of a hoard of undead. Which if she does, her society will accept her as one of the warriors.
A little Extra
Given the extreme time crunch, having a full fledged game with all the basic and additional requirements was a challenge. From the finding of suitable and student friendly assets to the coding of menu, combat, special abilities, enemy behaviors, player movement all in a period of five days.
